I currently work at Clyde 1 as Deputy Content Director, Exec producing and looking after two of its flagship shows, Bowie at Breakfast and Superscoreboard. As well as my radio work, I also run a production company, Audio Daft, working on original podcasts, such as Wrestling Daft and Wrestling Daft.As well as these personal ventures, I work alongside companies to produce bespoke podcasts. These have included S1 Jobs, Begbies Traynor, Team Challenge Company and Haus Architects.Prior to my promotion I returned to my role as Senior Breakfast Show Producer, where during my tenure the show saw it’s biggest audience share since 2003 and also won a bronze ARIA award. In that timeframe, Clyde 1 also won Station of the Year for two consecutive years. As content director at Audio Frontier, an agency that specialising in audio solutions for businesses and podcasts. Before that I was the Deputy Managing Editor at Global Radio Scotland, where I oversaw the rebranding of two radio stations and managed on air talent, content solutions and marketing teams. In my previous role at Clyde 1, I produced one of the biggest breakfast shows in the UK, Bowie at Breakfast and Saturday’s Superscoreboard on Clyde 1 - both of which were number 1 show’s in the marketplace. Audience figures increased significantly during my tenure and the show was nominated for Best Breakfast Show under 2m at the Arqiva Awards as well as winning best breakfast show at the Bauer Awards. I also worked at Real Radio North East where I won several Sony Awards including Gold for Best Breakfast Show and Best promotional/advertising campaign.I also have experience in music scheduling, have worked in charity, am adept in event management and with a degree in journalism have great writing and presentation skills. I have played a key role in providing social media and video content for Heart Scotland and I am comfortable with all kinds of technology ‘Audition’, ‘Pro Tools’ and Imovie/Final Cut Pro. I am able to think on my feet and problem solve under pressure whilst working in an efficient manner to tight deadlines.
