I qualified as a PSV/HGV tech and the age of 19.I had been around heavy equipment all my life. I had been in the PSV industry for 15 years before having 4 years in a light vehicle workshop.I started with Ryder trucks in January 2014 and had 3-1/2 years as a technician before being internally promoted to workshop supervisor.I am currently Workshop manager at Northgate Vehicle Hire Glasgow, embracing the challenge enjoying the role.I love my job and am fiercely proud of our location and the hard work my team and I have put in.I enjoy supervising and have found it to be a role where my skills have been appreciated through hard work.My M.O is that you get out what you put in.I take pride in quality and what comes out of my workshop.I embrace change. I strive for excellence and always think that no matter how good something is there is usually room to improve.At work I’m not afraid of long hours and always give 100%. Work for me is a way of life.
