During march 2016 I established Amaryha Enterprises and purchased the 15 mtr Twin rig trawler Providence SN 199 and renamed Amaryha FR 120.The company has been established to operate the vessel during fishing and guard operations from the port of Fraserbrugh but also to maintain where the opportunity arises contract HSE workscopes.

My main role is HSE focal point for the project work scope from an onshore perspective. I have worked on Inspection, Repair & Maintenance (IRM) projects for 3 yrs for a variety of clients where the work scopes can be very dynamic and fast pace should priories change.I have completed a number of offshore projects for Technip where recently the team was awarded a top annual award for safety performance by a major client. My present role is Snr HSE Advisor working on an EPIC Field development project.Within this role I am responsible for:•Developing SMS Bridging Documents & Emergency Notification Charts•Developing HSE Plans •Developing HSE Activity Matrixes •Progressing vessel assurance •Chairing HIRA meetings •Process HIRA document following update of actions•Conduction third party audits/ OHSAS 18001 or HS (G) 65•Providing COSHH Assessments •Conduct / participate in incident investigations and develop final incident reports & lessons learned.•Reviewing incident reports as they are received and monitoring progress to closeout•Maintain project / vessel stats •Present awareness of HSE issues to project team •Distribute Safety Alerts to both the project team onshore and offshore including the wider organization•To visit offshore/onshore worksites as Safety Coach/ Company Rep •Conduct inductions for new personnel •Maintain HSE documents to correct revision and filingWithin this role Iam may mentor HSE Associates and where required; new HSE Advisors to the company.Supervisor/ Safety Coach: When required offshore I have previously worked on a Pipe Inspection Gauge project that commenced with an offshore phase and then continued with onshore operations at St Fergus gas terminal with a successful completion. My role was extended to Company Rep / HSE & Performing Authority being responsible for activating the daily ISSOW, PTW however, maintaining focus on a safe worksite and respectable client / duty holder interface.

HSE focal point for the vessel. Within this role I also received the Safety Committee Minute and progressed onshore prior to resending the updated minute back to the Safety Committee Members. Chaired the Weekly HSE and other regular meeting calls with the vessel, sending out invites to all attendees including vessel, shore side and client. In regard to incident investigations; I received the report from offshore thereafter I liaise with the vessel officers to improve where necessary the report quality and context applying the organization root cause map. My responsibility thereafter was to ensure that the open actions as described in the report are updated on the action tracker system and ensure the resulting report is issued to the wider distribution list as required. To finalized the reports; I monitor the closed actions as they are progressed offshore and verify prior to updating the report. During quarterly Safety meetings with Senior Managers from off and onshore my remit was to present the recorded stats in regard to incident investigations and reports received ashore. From a project respective; I attended the Combined Ops Risk Assessments prior to chairing the following Level 1 HIRA Delivery Safety Inductions for new employees at the office facility ensuring that they are aware of the safety and environmental systems that are in place. Safety Coach: During a refit of the vesselEnvironmental Role:I maintained the facility ISO 14001 EMS including keeping the live spread sheets up to date with the returns from waste contractors and energy providers alike. Further to this I would then produce environmental information which was shared with employees. Significant environmental aspects were also monitored to ensure continued ISO 140001 compliance. For continued certification verification I and chair the Management Review Meeting including distribution of the resulting minute.

Marine Safety: Tasked with developing a safe system of work including risk assessment, method statements, safety inductions and also raising safety awareness to improve the safety culture Under take Safety inductions for new starts at the Port AuthorityEnvironmental Officer: While I was employed at the Port Authority I was tasked with and successfully put in place an Environmental Management System, industry recognized as a Port Environmental Review system (PERS) which was independently reviewed and accredited by Lloyds Register Rotterdam.(The organization was only the second port in Scotland to achieve this award). The PERS incorporates all of the requirements of ISO 14001 except for auditing however, can be used as a stepping stone for the ISO standard if required. VTSO: To manage, regulate and prioritize vessel traffic movements within the port limits of authority ensuring the port operates within its statutory duty as required under IMO resolution A 847 (20).

Responsible for keeping a navagation watch and maintainging vessel logs as well as conducting vessel and safety equipment inspections.Further duties were to arrange crew work duties in relation to vessel maintanence and house keeping.

As this was a private buisness I was responsible for crew safety, all fishing activity and decisions including type of gear and area to be fished. Ensuring that catch logbooks were kept updated. Ensure that all vessel equipment including electrical was maintained and operational.General vessel mangement including accounts etc.
