John is an entrepreneur, investor and mentor with long term experience of the business of business development. A former Chief Economist at IDA Ireland he developed together with two partners a specialist Cambridge based consultancy and training organisation focused on entrepreneurship and business development. The consultancy operated in all 9 English regions and undertook assignments in 13 countries training business support professionals in the private and public sectors and operating bank and publicly funded entrepreneur and business development programmes. He exited the business in 2011 and returned to Ireland where he is involved as mentor, board adviser and investor in a range of early stage high potential enterprises.
