I am a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 20 years of professional experience and I am currently employed as an Executive Engineer with Donegal County Council. I am based in the Road Management Office shared service.Prior to joining Donegal County Council I held roles as Principal Bridge Engineer and Bridges Team Leader with AECOM (2014-16) and Senior Engineer and Bridges Team Leader for O’Connor Sutton Cronin Consulting Engineers (2013-14). In these roles I was responsible for the delivery of bridge design and assessment services on a wide range of projects. Between 2007 & 2012 I worked as a self-employed Civil Engineer working primarily on the management of residential construction contracts. Prior to this I worked for over 7 years with Grontmij Consulting Engineers (formerly Carl Bro Ireland), gaining experience in various design and site roles, mainly for bridges and civil structures. Upon leaving I was a Senior Engineer and Team Leader for the Dublin civil structures design team.
