After several decades in corporate America, most recently with KPMG, I have ventured into a new chapter. After thinking deeply about the next steps, I made the decision to return to school - coupling my desire for continual learning with years of strategic, transformational, and risk consulting experience. I am currently enrolled in Columbia University’s Climate School, working toward a Master of Science in Sustainability Management. I’ve always been interested in climate and want to learn more about sustainability and change. I’m excited about this program and the opportunity to step back and look at what sustainability means for the future of business strategies and models.During my time with KPMG, I held multiple strategic roles and led critical special projects, including leading large-scale transformations at KPMG and Fortune 1000 clients. Most recently, I was asked to transform the audit practice as the first Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer. I drove the cultural and strategic advancement of the firm’s audit practice focused on improving audit quality and creating the “audit and auditor of the future.” Previously, as National Managing Partner, Innovation & Enterprise Solutions - a newly created role at the time - I led continual cultural, strategic, and financial advancement of innovation programs to create long-term change and unlock new sources of revenue. I played a key role in launching five new ignition centers around the country designed to inspire and challenge clients in their own strategic transformations. Earlier, I served as the Global and US ERM Leader, shaping the firm’s ERM strategy, as well as guiding clients and boards to evolve and strengthen ERM and governance programs linked to overall business success. As a leader, I am committed to collaborating and listening to people throughout an organization, so we can accelerate and move forward together!Areas of expertise:Operational, financial, and cultural transformationRisk assessment and optimizationLeadership development and cultural alignmentProcess and technology improvementGovernancePredictive performance and data analytics
