I have been in the broadcast media field for over 35 years working for various radio groups in the Albany, NY area. I have held management positions while also serving as a radio announcer for several programming formats.Currently, I am working in the Procurement field for a higher education organization that is also a New York State agency. I am also an experienced public address announcer for sports and entertainment events for over 30 years. I currently serve as the announcer for the men's and women's basketball programs at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. In 2012, I was inducted into the Skidmore College Athletics Hall of Fame due to my 27-plus years of service (at the time). Other highlights to my announcing career include announcing for the Adirondack Red Wings and Albany River Rats (AHL), Albany Firebirds (Arena Football), NYS High School Basketball championships, the Allegiance Bowl Sprint Football annual game, Ithaca College football, basketball and baseball, and my alma mater, Saratoga Springs High School. I have also been called upon to serve as an official announcer for non-sports events including the DECA state conference, several stage events.I have also served as Master of Ceremonies for several events and organizations including the Jaycees, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Skidmore College sports banquets, the Allegiance Bowl annual banquet, and more. Many of these opportunities was as a volunteer.
