Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC), the AHA’s first program that was converted to a Mission-aligned Business, grew from $50M in global revenue to $179M, RQI Partners, AHA’s first venture with a for profit company, was formed in July 2018 and surpassed aggressive first year targets for both revenue, generating $77M.* Highly valued for strategic partnership experience and skills which have led to many of the Association most strategic partnerships, including the American Medical Association, Laerdal Medical, American Diabetes Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, World Health Organization, and the China Ministry of Science and Technology.* Oversees penetration and growth in global markets, opening the first office outside of the United States and expanding presence to encompass eight international offices and over 50 staff members.* Successfully expanded the reach and influence of the organization while increasing annual revenue to more than $20M.* Revitalized the AHA’s relationship with The Joint Commission, negotiating new business terms that served as the foundation for the launch of three new cardiovascular certifications in 12 months.* Partnered with the executive leadership of Philips to improve the response time for time-sensitive medical emergencies by using mobile devices to alert nearby bystanders. Managed the operations of a business unit with 200 staff members and 450,000 instructors on a global scale delivering training to more than 17 million people annually. Coordinated ECC basic and advanced cardiac life support programs in more than 90 countries.* Over a six-year period, skyrocketed annual revenue by 200%. Worked with Laerdal Medical to launch co-developed products that included the CPR in Schools Kit and CPR Kiosk, with revenue growing from less than $5M to $80M by 2019.* Established international offices in Brussels, Hong Kong and Dubai, followed by openings in São Paulo, Brazil, New Delhi, India and Beijing, China.* Responsible for securing the first and only formal MOU between China’s Ministry of Science and Technology and a non-government entity, based on a shared agenda centered on research, physician exchange and CPR training.
