- Receive job packages including route details, red lines, KMZ files on google earth, GIS, and prints to determine splice locations and termination points- Analyze prints and do walkthroughs on potential jobs to put together quotes and bids- Create and send out job close out packages including test results, power levels, route details, splice docs, etc.- Receive customer PO’s and send invoices accordingly- Schedule workdays to align with customer deadlines/priorities- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees- Coach, counsel, and discipline employees

- Splice and terminate fiber optic cables while maintaining fiber data circuits/networks- Take outages and work with fiber engineers/NOC’s to identify why link was lost and mitigate to resolve issue(s)- Perform OTDR testing and troubleshooting to identify issues, verify continuity between termination points, and measure light levels for close outs- Organize OTDR test results and put in PDF format to send to customers- Test power levels with Optical Power Meter- Knowledgeable in new fiber enclosure builds such as Tyco, Coyote, 3M, etc.- Installed just about every type of term panel including wall mount and rack mount panels inside of tower hubs, hoffman boxes, and business telco/demarc rooms- Personally, own all the necessary equipment to climb poles including pole gaffs, saddle/belt, buck straps and able to do line work aloft- Have done line work from new construction to pole transfers and knowledgeable in the use of all tools/equipment to do so such as drills, hoists, lashers, etc.- Proficient in creating as builds, splice documents, and cut sheets for customers to keep accurate documentation of all splice points- Drive a bucket vehicle with attached splice lab daily to sight locations and operate bucket while keeping truck maintained- Good working knowledge of telecommunications network structure; familiar withvarious fiber optic cables (ribbon and loose tube), splice enclosures and the functionality of each- Operate and fully understand the use of EXFO FTB-1/Max Tester OTDR and Fujikura/Sumitomo fusion splicing equipment- Read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data with a high degree of accuracy and completeness- Splice/test/repair fiber optic cables in indoor, outdoor, and aerial settings- Use hand tools, ladders, and equipment to assist in the completion of an assigned project- Clean, organize, and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and work areas in order to ensure compliance with all safety regulations

- Cut down or trim branches from trees to prevent damage and destruction to power lines.- Cut away dead, obstructive or excess branches from trees.- Extensive knowledge of chainsaw safety along with roping and rigging techniques.- Utilize chain saws and work crews to safely cut down limbs.- Climb trees with safety devices to properly cut down limbs.- Use lifts to gain access to high areas.- Remove debris and cart away large limbs for disposal.- Cable, brace, tie, bolt and stake trees and branches to provide support.- Utilize climbing equipment or buckets of extended truck booms and/or chainsaws, hooks, handsaws, shears and clippers.

- Provide administrative support in order to maintain an efficient work environment- Type documents, reports and correspondence.- Retrieve information when requested.- Build Prototype Pallets.- Assist with event planning and implementation.- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced.- Perform work related errand as requested such as going to post office, bank or store for supplies.- Update and maintain databases.- Maintain and keep record of all ISPM-15 heat treat certifications daily/monthly and meet with monthly quality inspector. - Maintain pallet heat treat kiln and troubleshoot when there's an issue, along with repair, replace and calibrate the temperature probes - Operate forklift, high lift loaders, man lift and back semi-trailers to loading docks.- Operate pallet nailing machines and pneumatic nail guns- Operate pallet wood manufacturing machines such as chop saws, band saws, stringer notchers, table saws and a wide variety of hand power tools.- Steel fabrication such as designing, drilling, milling and welding.- Do quarterly inventory of pallets and pallet lumber.- Keep paint inventoried and stocked.- Any small construction jobs such as building/remodeling offices, adding stairs/walkways, etc.
