Lead the global financial aspects of evaluations, contract negotiations and deal closings for various potential business development opportunities including, product licensing, product acquisitions, asset acquisitions, product divestitures and company acquisitions. Responsible for all financial, accounting and control aspects of US Operations Functions including two manufacturing sites, US Business Center, capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, Inv. & Returns’ Actg.· Direct all planning, forecasting and budgeting activities within US Operations and Manufacturing.· Provide financial and business case development expertise across the Operations and Manufacturing functions.· Responsible for all Manufacturing accounting including:o Manufacturing standards developmento Manufacturing variance analysis and projectionso Inventory valuations, projections and risk assessmento Sarbanes Oxley compliance· Develop the business support and financial analysis for various Operations strategies, i.e., Inventory Management Agreements.· Direct the accounting for Product Returns, developing various estimation methodology to predict future financial exposure.· Direct, develop and manage an organization of 28 finance professionals in 3 locations.

Provide business and financial support to the Brand and Portfolio Management Team business areas including Therapeutic areas & core areas, ensuring management decisions are supported by appropriate financial analysis and support.· Support all planning, estimating and budgeting activities of Business Planning Management Team [BPMT]. Responsible for the development of the Commercialization financial planning processes including the structure and analysis of financial plans, communications, timelines, and consolidations. · Prepare management financial package of key information for effective communication to BPMT and senior management of plans, forecasts, budgets and analysis.· Provide business based financial insight and analysis across Therapeutic Areas and Product Team initiatives such as: Licensing opportunities, new products and / or extensions, co-promotion arrangements and major development and marketing programs. · Manage, develop and mentor staff of seven professionals.

Provide overall business and financial support to the marketing and sales organization ($300M in spending) through business and financial consulting, management information, financial analysis, procedural & policy development:· Consult on and approve significant Marketing and Sales spending plans for consistency with business strategies and financial practices.· Direct the annual business planning process including sales forecasts development and analysis, operating budgets, capital investments and human resource planning.
