Primary focus is with machinery controls engineering design, implementation, and start-up.• Program Manager / Senior Consultant / Field Engineer – NSWCPD-SESS PhiladelphiaLead automation controls engineer responsible for modernizing a control system with 71 processors and over 6000 I/O. This project was a modernization effort of the industrial controls network and control automation algorithms. This project involved controls and monitoring for fuel distribution and holding, list control, AFFF and damage control, fire main, ventilation and vacuum collecting and holding (VCHT) systems. MHC Class Machinery Control System Modernization – Lead control engineer for the modernization effort for the machinery control system for the propulsion plant, electric plant, vital alarms, and auxiliary systems. MHC Class Ships were decommissioned from the U S Navy and modernized, re-activated, and sold to foreign navies. Supported start-up activities in coordination with the Taiwan Navy and Hellenic Navy. Performed life cycle and incremental upgrades and additions to ship machinery control systems. Supported the installation availability and control system upgrades for start-up activities at Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan. USCG Alex Haley Machinery Control System Ship Modernization Project – Developed ship control systems for controlling and monitoring the 4 main diesel engines and controllable pitch propeller, ship speed systems and governors. Performed control system design and development and managed land based validation at the Philadelphia Naval Business Center, shipboard on-site system start-up activities in Kodiak, Alaska. Managed sea trials, verification and validation on the Behring Sea.

• Controls Engineer – NSWCCD-SESS PhiladelphiaFFG Class Ship Damage Control System modernization to the Australian Navy HMAS Sydney. Developed the damage control system and managed installation and start-up support activities in Sydney Australia in coordination with the Australian Navy. • Engineering Technical Lead – NSWCCD-SESS PhiladelphiaShip to Shore Connector (SSC) project – Technical Lead for designing all requirement aspects of voice, video, and data processing and distribution for command, control, communications, computers and navigation (C4N) of the SSC craft. The SSC craft is designed to be the next generation LCAC Air Cushion Vehicle • Engineering Technical Lead – NSWCCD-SESS PhiladelphiaShip to Shore Connector (SSC) project – Performed trade studies on automation possibilities for Air Cushion Vehicles. The trade study focused on Integrated Flight Control (IFC) options. The trade studies analyzed trends in technical readiness based on market surveys, cost estimating options, and risk assessment. • Engineering Machinery Controls Consultant – NSWCCD-SESS PhiladelphiaSenior controls engineer in designing and implementing a ship machinery control system for the propulsion, electrical distribution, and auxiliary systems. Managed integrating over 3,000 I/O across 15 processors and 18 consoles. Designed file generation tools to develop control algorithms and graphical user interfaces. Provided management using CMMI level 3 design, development and implementation processes. • Project Engineer – Land Fill Gas Facility Control System (FCS)Developed and implemented the control system with 750 I/O. Managed the development of communication interface protocols to various vendor skids. Supported the start-up activities at two locations. Negotiated change orders in the amount of 10 percent of the contract value. Managed the engineering project from design, development, and implementation to start-up of the facilities.

• Consultant - Contracted to NAVSEA Philadelphia, Machinery Controls, Design, and Development. Developed and implemented ship machinery control upgrades, oil water separator control designs, vertical conveyor control designs, and machinery control / data acquisition designs. Systems included propulsion, electrical distribution, damage control, fire main, list control, fuel distribution and holding, reserve feed, potable water, ventilation, and vital alarm systems. Managed start-up, verification, validation and sea trials at Puget Sound Naval Ship Yard and at Norfolk Naval Ship Yard.

• Consultant - Contracted to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia PADeveloped design concepts and machinery controls software for various classes of ships and ship systems. Specifically, propulsion control, electrical distribution, damage control and auxiliary systems. Supported start-up, verification, validation and sea trials in Corpus Christi, Texas and at Naval Support Activity Bahrain.• Site Manager - Contracted to All Control System’s, Inc.​IBM/Toshiba Iroquois Project – (Dominion Semiconductor) Marshall/Hyman ContractorsManaged all tasks on site for ACS’ installation/start-up and commissioning. The contract was to install, start-up, and commission the facility management control system for a Clean Room environment. This project involved installation of 38 Modicon PLC based systems with approximately 3000 I/O points. This involved overseeing an electrical contractor and mechanical contractor during the installation phase. Managed technicians and software programmers during start-up and commissioning phase. Negotiated change orders with the client. Involved with the project from concept to completion.​• Instrumentation and Controls Project Engineer​Public Service Electric & Gas Company​Developed design change documents in support of the Salem Generating Station Unit 1 & Unit 2 restart effort. Lead I&C Engineer contracted to Sargent & Lundy. Performed design changes for the Radiation Monitoring Systems and main turbine lube oil separators.
