I enjoy talking to people and sharing my experiences both on a personal and professional level. What is equally satisfying is seeing someone that I was a help to doing the same for another individual. Showing sincerity towards others is important in communication as well as being relatable. Working in an environment that is group oriented is especially important to me because I enjoy listening to different ideas and perspectives that gives the group a well-rounded understanding of the goal. I credit this to my years in Boy Scouts of America. The benefits of learning, leading and training individuals in that program is why I prefer working together. Previously, I have worked with Prince George’s County Office of Human Resources Management in the Director’s Office in the capacity of Assistant to the Office Manager. My experience with Microsoft Office Excel was helpful while working as a clerical assistant for the Office of Finance and my experience with Microsoft Suite has been beneficial in my current duties as an Educator as well as those previously. I volunteer in my local church in various capacities and love exercising and spending time with my family and friends.
