I would describe myself as an experienced financial professional with active management skills, and an understanding of capital markets. Throughout my career I have had the tremendous opportunity to work with some of the best firms in the Financial Services area. I began my career as an Analyst covering retail for a Mitsubishi Bank subsidiary. My most recent position was as Co-Founder and Portfolio Manager of a publicly traded Mutual Fund, The Fintrust Income and Equity Fund. Our team executed a strategy which uses an options overlay to enhance income within a fundamentally driven portfolio. The fund was consistently in the top 20% of funds in its category. I continue to believe in Fundamental analysis and active management.Previously, I worked with two excellent firms JC Bradford and Company and Legg Mason each before their respective acquisitions. Presently, I am the Financial Partner and co-founder of Spectrum-Villages which is a startup focused supporting neurodiverse adults with options for independent living. This is a technologically driven, healthcare adjacent, scalable concept. I am a board level participant in this entity and have executed two real estate projects related to our work. I also have a passion for environmental issues. I have worked with NGOs in Belize and Wake Forest University to help protect Lighthouse Reef Atoll as well as Board member of the Conestee Nature Preserve in Greenville SC.It has been a terrific journey and I look forward to the next turn on the proverbial road.
