Initially joined TD to lead and oversee the Real Time Rails (RTR) delivery workstreams underway in the TD Canadian Payments Portfolio and to build out a robust delivery structure within the TD payments practice for RTR.Actively managing the Enterprise Payments portfolio, involving the planning, communicating and prioritization, both Payments funded, and internal partner funded projects, with over $$110 annual spend. Currently involved in employee focused activities, including Employee Pulse Survey results and action items, and facilitating an All-Hands Call (AHC) for the VP, Corporate Delivery.Streamlined and built out a consistent reporting and program governance structure that aligned with TD best practices. Managed and oversaw budget and costs for Tier1 and Tier2 projects. Worked in both PDLC (Product Delivery Life Cycle) and SAFe (Scaled Agile) that spanned across both methodologies as TD transforms the way work is managed.Found opportunities to mentor and guide others in the organization on navigating the project and program management world. I honed my skills while working at Interac Corp, a Canadian company that runs and operates Canada’s national debit network. While there, I focused on program & project management, IT-infrastructure builds, client integration, risk management & regulatory compliance, and vendor & sourcing management. Technology was changing the payments world and vice versa. This made me eager to cultivate my own practice, one that would effectively intersect my expertise in program and business management with my interests in technology and payments. Leading all the technology project management and vendor management functions within Canada Protection Plan, a Foresters Financial Company, to become the most digital-centric company in the industry. Brought in to implement Project Management Office (PMO) best practices across the organization, including program reporting and project prioritization exercises utilized with the senior leadership team. Also responsible to build out an IT vendor framework for the Vendor Management Office (VMO) and established a 3rd-party risk management (TPRM) scoring and vendor catalog, while negotiating IT contracts and licensing renewals. Managed both direct and indirect reports to deliver on a program of technology projects across the organization that utilize the practices and reporting put into place.Moved the call centre from an on-premise Avaya system to the Amazon Connect call centre that utilizes AWS. With this move we lessened the risk of outages while increasing the security posture.

Providing expertise as a Project Management Consultant to FICANEX, an industry-leading provider of innovative payment solutions to Canadian financial institutions across Canada.Responsible to set up a project portfolio practice and implement best practices in forming a centre of excellence, for the various programs and projects. Performed a PMO maturity assessment, developed and implemented processes and documentation to manage a program of AI chatbot and international remittance projects.

The Vendor Management Office (VMO) ensured vendor (supplier) contractual obligations were met through the Vendor Management Life-cycle. Key areas focused on Contract, Vendor Risk and Financial Management.

The team supported the IT infrastructure for corporate and commercial activities at Interac. Employing ITIL best practices, the role was to ensure compliance to PCI-DSS and to 24/7/365 support of Canada's national debit network. This also included implementing the new CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics. (Temporary role to fill a gap when the incumbent left)

Used my expertise to help support and accelerate the development and execution of international debit organization's roadmaps in implementing debit products.

The role was focused on key strategy and tactical initiatives utilizing KPI reporting and guiding team objectives to improve on operational efficiencies.

The newly formed VMO group was in need of a seasoned leader who could build out processes from ITIL best practice and set up reporting on KPI's and SLA's in newly signed contracts.

This role was to manage multiple implementations and multiple teams utilizing technical expertise in payments and infrastructure, to facilitate the on-boarding of multiple clients within the payments platforms.
