* Investigations and investigative support to internal and external (federal, state and local) partners *I solve problems.“In service to the public since 1976 / seeking to continue to apply knowledge and expertise for the public good.”Qualifications – Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:* Forty-plus (40+) years of experience within the security and law enforcement communities in the public and private sector, inclusive of law enforcement supervision.* Thirty-plus (30+) years of infrastructure protection or transportation security experience.* NIMS / NPF Certifications from FEMA.* Maintain access and proficiency in federal, state, local, and proprietary databases and applications.* Thorough understanding of regional public safety forces and structures.* Excellent presence when presenting and briefing management, supervisors, peers and instructees on subject matter and activities.* Excellent written and speaking communications skills.* Ability to effectively interact with individuals from diverse professional and non-professional backgrounds.* Proficient in analyzing, reviewing, and extracting data and information from various sources.* Articulate, with the ability to communicate mission-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical individuals.* Proficient with MS Office as well as various communications devices used in the public safety field.* Ability to function independently, under pressure, and perform multiple duties with minimal supervision or guidance.* Experienced off-hours law enforcement and security emergency responder, performing assessments, followed by requisite actions and after-action reporting.* Former firefighter / fire officer, with multi-agency fireground command experience.Specialties: Emergency Operations and Communications / Criminal, Internal, and Administrative Investigations / Interagency Operations.
