I use various myths and legends to endorse his bright and vivid imagery. My passion for the mystical, allow me to observe the subtle and secretive world of our natural habitat.Recent work is evolving into more conceptual imagery, which I create on one of South Africa’s largest printing presses housed in my studio in Fourways, Johannesburg. I'm finding the creative process and challenges of large-scale detailed almost obsessive imagery very engrossing and enjoyable. My inspiration is gleaned from “experiencing life, in all its forms” and I bring my ideas tolife through the media of etchings, linocuts, lithographs, pastels and woodblocks.My art has exceeded the average market value and has grown since I started creating work in the 1990s. The work has been purchased as an investment art by most South African Banks, such as ABSA Bank, African Bank, First National Bank, Rand Merchant Bank and The SouthAfrican Reserve Bank Art. My work is represented in The MTN Art Collection, The Sasol Art Collection and the Telkom ArtCollection, to name a few.I am listed as a master printmaker, and the technical expertise I insist on in my process is studied by art students in South African schools.I love sharing my knowledge and have a passion for teaching the arts to anyone who cares to learn. I offer short courses to both adults and children and offer internships for artists wishing to specialise in printmaking.I'm dedicated to push my own creative boundaries and to create new original work for exhibitions each year, with the purpose of creating value for my investors with each exhibition.
