Guide and oversee global storage, distribution, packaging, labeling, cold chain, and transportation of DS, DP, and combination clinical trial products for patients with obesity and type one and two diabetes. I directed 200+ global shipping lanes, managed 8 direct reports, and oversaw a significant budget in the completion of temperature-controlled shipping activities for internal medicine, genetic disease, hematology, immunology, and neuroscience specialties. I directed both site-to-site shipments and domestic/international replenishment lanes. One of my key contributions in this role was my ability to streamline and coordinate operations during mergers and acquisitions. After Shire acquired Baxalta, I oversaw complex relationships across the logistics network and spearheaded process improvements that ultimately slashed prices. Leading six direct reports, I managed international cold chain shipments and tracked global product movement for shipments covering internal medicine, genetic disease, and neuroscience. I supported existing launches by determining routes and lanes for marked products and guided logistics coordination for those launches.
