If someone asked me to describe my career in under ten words, I’d have to say I’m an evidence based, data driven strategic marketer!My marketing career started in market research after winning an award for top student in a qualitative research elective whist completing my marketing degree at Monash University. The award sponsor, a leading strategic market research consultancy, offered me a market research project management position which I happily accepted. I went on to head up senior research positions at Telstra leading all marketing communications and brand research, at AAMI and the Suncorp Group leading strategic market research and personal insurance insights, worked in senior positions on the agency side with multiple strategic market research agencies and was a founding partner of a market research consultancy which ran for several years.In more recent years, I have used data driven and evidence based insights to help drive successful new product and marketing campaign launches in more hands on marketing management positions utilising both B2B and B2C distribution channels. More recently as the National Marketing Manager at Ansvar Insurance, I successfully led the implementation of a new digital marketing campaign doubling new business quotes and increasing sales by 109% within six months of launch, spearheaded the consolidation of Ansvar's websites into one unified digital platform and using a focussed SEO strategy increased Google organic session growth by over 3500%, achieved top Google rankings for 20 niche sector keywords and significantly enhanced broker engagement and business generation.With a deep understanding of digital channels, SEO optimization, brand and value proposition development and customer insights, I bring a unique blend of skills that enable me to create and execute impactful marketing strategies.
