Technical Lead for Application Development, Application Maintenance, and Business Automation needs for government accounting office. Direct report to Comptroller for FL Dept of Education. Applications range in scope from state wide mainframe and web applications to in house MS Office automation. Manage small team of 2 to 3 developers occasionally supplemented with contracted staff. Serve as the liaison to our Division of Information Services for resources or support better served at an enterprise level. My ability, along with my team, to gather data from multiple sources and platforms and use it to automate tasks, edit new data and generate usable information and reports with the audience as a heavily weighted consideration is what has allowed me to be a very cost effective resource to our fiscal area. We have used and continue to use the following tools for web based solutions under the .net library, VB.net C#, Java script rendered on aspx pages. These solutions are managed and developed using Visual Studio with Team Foundation as the source manager. Extensive automation of the MS Office application with VBA, ms-scripting and even DOS batch file. Data platforms and engines are primarily MS SQL, Oracle, DB2 and ebcdic data under MVS.
