With over twenty years experience working in publishing, architectural illustration and film, John is renowned for his intricate technical cutaway artworks depicting hardware and locations from iconic cinematic universes. Comfortable with applying traditional & digital techniques to both illustration and graphic design, John's diverse 2D and 3D skill-set enables him to provide work of exceptional detail to a variety of international clients including Lucasfilm, Universal Studios and Pixar.John applies that same meticulous detail to his film-making career, producing music videos, environmental campaign virals, short features and he is currently developing a feature film project. The music video he conceived and directed, ‘The Joy and the Wonder’, written and recorded with his band Last Picture Show is due for release in 2021 and recently won ‘Best Music Video’ at the 2021 Hollywood Art and Movie Awards film festival, as well as also making Official Selection for the London Lift-Off Global Network film festival. He is currently producing a short film about the Windrush scandal and developing a feature-film script plus future music video concepts. Whether as writer, producer, director or editor, John's work is typified by a love of visual & audio spectacle, a keen social conscience and a painstaking attention to detail across all disciplines. He lives in Reading, UK with his wife and two sons.
