Manufacturing Engineer tasked with hydraulic tank design and complex sheet metal fabrications. Supported over 20 customer accounts with Manufacturing support, tooling design and process development on weldments(weld sequence, spot welded or fillet welded) Largest clients supported were John Deere Hitachi’s line of products and Caterpillar Decatur radiator tanks. Job tasks included, sourcing venders for paint services, component parts and various testing required to certify product. Utilized Pro Engineer wildfire 4 and Creo to create drawings, models and assemblies per customer certifications. Created work instructions for shop floor, routed and estimated new and existing products. Through my tenure at Helgesen I championed numerous NPI’s (New product introductions) from design through production.
