Uncertainty regarding the macro environment and Cisco’s specific outlook was therefore a common theme during these two years, requiring a highly effective financial planning process, precise coordination across multiple stakeholders, and very rapid response times as business conditions changed.

The team was comprised of 80 professionals from multiple disciplines, including IT, Operations, Program Management, Finance and others. The Cisco CIO, the SVP of Sales Operations, the VP of Corporate Finance and the VP of Customer Service created this team by merging all initiatives related to data management in our IT systems. I was selected to be the leader following the success of the Enterprise Reporting and Business Intelligence initiative, one of the initiatives that were merged into this larger team. Initially, this function was part of Corporate Finance. However, as it became increasingly technical in nature, the function moved under IT, and I reported to the CIO during the last year of my tenure in this role.

Most impactful accomplishments were:• Leading the Finance integration (and in the process relocating to Milan) for Pirelli’s Optical Networking Manufacturing Operations into Cisco. • Serving as Controller for Cisco’s “External Factory,” Cisco’s first fully outsourced Manufacturing operation.• Partnering with the Tax organization to implement the Cisco BV tax strategy.

Joined ComputerLand, a 15 employee franchise in Gainesville, FL, as a Service Technician after completing my degree at the University of Florida. Spent 3.5 years initially repairing computers and printers, and progressing to installing and maintaining local area networks.
