I love leading from the front and have a proven track record of delivering enterprise grade SaaS systems adhering to compliance, security, resilience, and availability requirements on time and on budget, and fit for purpose.Some highlights from my career include: - Product Transformation to SaaS on the CloudSpearheaded the transformation of Axe Group's flagship product Axelerator from an on-premise bespoke product with high client total cost of ownership to an off-the-shelf and always upgraded SaaS product with low client total cost of ownership, hosted on AWS. This facilitated high ROI from our clients adopting what already came out-of-the-box and was fit for purpose instead of adapting the system to fit into what had previously been built in the systems our solution was commissioned to replace. - Next Generation Policy Administration SystemDesigned and led the creation of a feature rich policy administration system built using modern day architecture and software development practices as well as bridging the gap between back-office systems and point of sales systems.The unique approach orchestrated seamless interaction between customers requesting changes to their policies, upcoming renewals / anniversaries, outstanding premiums, and several advanced features to support insurance code of practice obligations such as financial hardship, premium waivers, loss of family members etc.The new system applied accurate & real-time updates to the system of record and downstream data points. This resulted in eliminating numerous manual processes and workarounds performed by the operations teams. These gains in efficiency allowed the operations team to be retasked on customer experience initiatives. - Regulatory Compliance & APRA CPS 234The cloud SaaS Axelerator Platform was one of the first system-of-record solutions in the life insurance industry to be given a no-object approval from the financial services regulatory body, the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).
