Due to continuous growth and winning more projects in the Fire Services Sector - I restructured the business from Sole Trader to Company Pty Ltd and with a main focus of Fire Services from Dry Fire (Electrical) to Wet Fire (Sprinklers) and Passive.Valiant Fire Protection now does Construction projects in the Commercial & Industrial sector and we also service, test and inspect Strata residential properties.We are FPAA recognised and FPAS accredited. I put a lot of effort to train my Techs on the field so that we will never become a company that i have previously worked at.

After my short stint at Elite Electrical i decided that i would go to Sub-Contracting with the hopes of following my ambition of running my own Electrical Business.I started off with Valiant Electrical as my business name and contracting to several different companies doing Electrical. As my interest has always been Fire Services, i never stopped trying to get my own Fire Services projects and/or contracting to other companies.During the 2 years i started getting traction and a few projects in the pipeline and from there i employed an apprentice and had a contractor on the books to help out.

Whilst at Extreme Fire Solutions, i had another referral from a friend of mine whom said Elite Electrical was looking to expand into the Fire Services Space and would like me to help build and run it. When i first commenced i was thrown into different type of jobs relating to Electrical to start off with which included a lot of Exit and Emergency light testing and RCD testing of Schools for Spotless. Eventually the company ended up with a few Fire Services related contracts with Spotless to take care of but it ended up being lots of Testing of Fire Safety assets in Correctional Centres. Due to my background, i was more interested in rectifying and offer solutions to the faults rather then testing and with the restrictions in Correctional Centres, management failed to organise properly for us technicians. There was only 2 of us on the team.It was a short stint and i had a few chats with the boss privately to understand the direction and the broken promises so the Boss offered me to stay on and become the Service Manager (after 6 more months due to grace period of merging a Fire Company) and head the Fire Services Department however i declined the offer as i didn't see the company a good fit and it didn't align with me and going the right direction at the time.

During my time as Service Technician in Extreme Fire Solutions - they had a restructure in management and the head Electrician for Construction became a Project Manager and they asked for me to step in to compensate in the loss of a Electrician in construction and due to my previous history in Construction it was a great choice. I started leading the jobs but still actively on the field doing work together and leading 2 other technicians. With my knowledge now more honed in Fire Services during my time as a service technician, i learnt to set and finish the projects at not only at a faster rate but also a better finish by installing assets with the thought of Serviceability in mind. It had frustrated me whilst being a Service Technician rectifying faults on jobs that other Technicians had been on with no Serviceability in mind.

Shortly after my apprenticeship, i applied for a Service Technician Role at Extreme Fire Services which someone had recommended me for. Working at Extreme Fire Solutions and with a great Technician team, i started to hone my Technical and Programming skillsets and my prowess of finding and rectifying faults. Learnt to talk and service clients on a face to face basis and also explaining certain issues of the fire systems to the clients and drumming up service reports for both the client and managers to review. Occasionally helped out the Inspect & Test team with their annual fire safety testing and/or conducting Annual Fire Safety Tests on some of the major sites.

Commenced my 4 year Electrical apprenticeship with Southern and Eastern Electrical Fire.We mainly focused on Residential Electrical and Commercial/Industrial Fire Services. I had the pleasure of gaining both knowledge in the Electrical field and Fire Services field which bolstered my set skills in the field and applying both elements of each Niche to the job. From this apprenticeship, my interest in Fire Services grew as it resonated more with Electronics.
