Linehaul / VIC Transport PlannerReporting to the Planning Manager, my responsibilities are planning and scheduling all linehaul movements within the business utilising various modes of transport (road / rail & sea) with a driver base of 45, including both sub-contractor and company fleet based across all States. A key focus of my role is to monitor operating margins during the planning process to control labour to revenue and meet customer KPI requirements. This requires daily communications with internal operations departments, account managers and yard staff to ensure timely movements of freight providing best case scenarios. With PrixCar offering a premium enclosed transport service, I am heavily involved in co-ordinating and assisting in quoting movements of specialised transport movements. On a local level, I am involved in co-ordinating wharf movements and local deliveries to four major clients, ensuring maximum fleet utilisation across both shifts.

Reporting to the Interstate Operations Manger, I held responsibilities for the Interstate Transport planning for a fleet of approximately 85+ drivers , both company and subcontractors. Based at Toyota Altona plant, I also assisted during this time with local transportation and distribution (road, rail, sea). Across an 8 year period. I developed a strong rapport which demonstrated measured improvements in the planning process and operational execution that delivered greater profit and improved KPI’S , resulting in the best delivery results ever recorded for the department. My operations was awarded the leading site in quality execution and measurement, highlighting my commitment to core values and outcomes.Over a 5 year period, I was responsible for co-ordinating and implementing yard movements for Toyota local manufactured vehicles. This included organising yard layout, monitoring and engaging in labour requirements and working closely Toyota in relation to quality control. Within this role, I supervised a team of 15 people across a 6 day roster.This entitled analysing data to develop sustainable transport strategies and efficiencies to meet client requirements and foreseeing manpower requirements based on daily workloads to meet company targets. During this time , I also managed a PM shift for both rail movements and movements of export vehicles to the wharf, and assisted with coastal shipping process of bulk movements of vehicles within Australia.
