I held various positions throughout my career at Macquaire. These provided significant growth and development opportunities, resulting in various promotions through to Division Director. I developed and led exceptional teams of technical and functional specialist and oversaw or directly managed numerous major projects and programs of work.Over my long career at Macquarie my responsibilities were focussed towards supporting the Corporate Affairs Group (CAG) where I sought and was successful in providing what were recognised as world class systems and operations. Here I had "cradle to grave" accountability and responsibility for the technologies used across areas within CAG. These included Finance, HR and Payroll systems, Regulatory Reporting Systems (inhouse & vendor packages), BI systems, Budgeting and Reconciliation applications (inhouse & package applications), Taxation and Company Secretary solutions. Within Macquarie I was a trusted advisor and worked directly with Senior Executives from CAG and across the organisation. My key business sponsor was Macquarie's Deputy Managing Director & Chief Financial Officer. I was acknowledged as a leader in these applications and technologies and for a number of years was a member of the PeopleSoft International Customer Advisory Board where I worked closely with Peoplesoft's Head Office (USA) Executives including CEO, IT & Product Strategists, Support, etc. I was chairperson of Peoplesofts Australian Northern Region User Group and was a speaker at a number of local and international user conferences.My most recent responsibilities at Macquarie included overseeing technical and functional teams supporting global Accounting and Financial Management applications including the General Ledger, Group Wide Budgeting (TM1), Enterprise BI (Microstrategy) and Management Reporting platforms. I was Financial Systems technical lead in the global Finance transformation initiative at Macquarie.
