This involved working closely with the shipyard team at the start of the project and the SAMs team referencing rig drawings as well as complying with ABS and DNV classifications• Carry out FAT tests with vendors prior to equipment arriving at site• Carry out full review of commission procedures from both shipyard and NOV• Ensure all equipment was fitted to specifications and complied with IEC, ABS and DNV guidelines. • Carry out inspection and testing on all HV, MV and LV cables and record results for ABS/DNV records• Commissioning and testing of power system 11KV (synchronisation, load sharing, etc)• Commissioning of F&G and ESD systems• Mechanical completions/ inspections of all electrical equipment on board and ensure it complied to specifications • Review of drilling equipment commissioning procedures and carry out full commissioning of drilling systems as per proceedures• SITs on vessels once fully commissioned Show less
