Managing the sales of Heat Interface Units in the South from Northampton to Worcester

Managed a team of 4 Business Development Managers from the East Midlands, East Anglia, Kent and London.Generated appointments with Directors and Sales Managers of the key merchant groups.Attended joint sales visits and training with sales team to key contractors and local authorities.Supported the launch of new Baxi products and established new routes to market. Worked with the company’s commercial divisions to launch heatboxes / interface unit to M+E Consultants, local authorities and national builders.Worked closely with Heatrae Sadie (owned by Baxi) on both domestic and commercial projects. Successfully maintained key contracts under very competitive pricing from other manufacturers.

Managed an area encompassing Midlands to North London and East Anglia, leading and motivating two Business Development Managers, with a customer base of social housing and new build contractors.Set up meetings with key contacts in merchants (Directors and Sales Managers).Worked with Ideal and Keston Commercial to bring light commercial products in to new build applications.Successfully launched the new Logic range of boilers, achieving bonus target in the first year. Won 100% of Barrett Homes business in the region.

Managed a team of four Business Development Managers and two Contract Managers.Planned and implemented promotion trips with key merchant accounts and customer groups.Key Account Manager for City Plumbing / Travis Perkins.Sold renewable and light commercial products from the group’s product range. Key Account Manager for major house builders and merchants.Managed the promotion of the entire range of Caradon products through Plumb Center, including Mira Showers, Ideal boilers, Stelrad radiators & Twyford bathrooms for the South East. Achieved the lion’s share of £100m turnover in 2000; 14% above target. Divisional Sales Manager of the Year 1997, Area Sales Manager of the Year 1995.
