Develop, implement, and support iFIX SCADA systems that control the production automation of optical fiber. Utilized Microsoft VB.Net, Visual Basic 6, and Visual C++ applications to develop and implement a series of MS Windows applications that control optical systems for measurement and data calculation of optical fiber. Maintain and supported PC systems and applications used across the Corning Plant network. Used Six Sigma processes to improve software and production performance. Responsibilities included software support, production improvement, documentation, and project leadership duties. Implement and improve a standardized process to develop, store, implement, and maintain HMI and PC applications from a version control perspective. Provide an efficient and effective process for backup and recovery of HMI software systems.

Designed and implemented a subsystem (MS Windows NT Version) of LOGICMASTER software that monitors and controls GE 90-70 Series Programmable Logic Controllers via RS-232 cable. Also, maintained and tested (MS-DOS Version) of LOGICMASTER software. Developed and documented test methods and subsystem design for LOGICMASTER software. All software was developed and tested on Hewlett Packard UNIX workstations and Gateway Pentium PC's. Software was developed under the "C" and "C++" language along with SQL, ODBC and Microsoft Access.

Also, developed software to verify image quality of Photo CD Discs. Software applications were developed on a Macintosh IICX. Also, utilized "Microsoft Word" and "Photo CD Toolkit" to develop software applications. Responsibilities included documentation and software performance review. Professional Photography Division. November 1991 - July 1992Maintained and tested software that reads and writes color images to and from the Kodak PREMIER Image Enhancement System, an image processing system, via 8mm and 9-track tape drives. Also, maintained and tested software that sends color images, in TIFF format, to and from the Kodak PREMIER Image Enhancement System via Macintosh IIFX computer and ethernet cable. All UNIX-based software was developed and tested on Sun Microsystems workstations under the "C" language. Responsibilities included customer support and documentation. Mass Memory Division. August 1990 - November 1991 Developed Robotics Control Library software that controls the Kodak Optical Disk System 6800 via SCSI and RS-232 cables. Also, developed SCSI diagnostic software application to diagnose optical disk drive of the Kodak Optical Disk System 6800. Responsibilities included documentation for Robotics Control Library and SCSI diagnostic software.
