Developed an Excel tool for the Replenishment Department to enhance inventory and sales reporting. By drilling down to store level sales data, the Replenishment Planners are now able to better match product with the stores that have the highest inventory turnover and lowest inventory levels. The tool has a sizable amount of information to portray, and does so in a succinct and direct way.Created a report that displayed the gross margin percent for each style by each retailer. This provides the Replenishment Planners access to whether certain retailers are selling products for less than retail price, or if it is for certain products across all retailers.Wrote detailed step-by-step instructions for each of the tools that were created so that they can be reused and updated by the Replenishment Department.I took advantage of being at a large company to learn more about the business than just the Replenishment Department. Besides personal growth, I learned about how each of the departments function as well as how they interrelate with each other.

Medical Teams International mobilizes its Emergency Response program within 48 hours to send medical teams and supplies to help save lives and improve healthcare. It was my job to aid in the transition to the revised packing list for the Team Bags, which are designed to be able to “grab and go” into a disaster area. I packed sample Team Bags for each of the different packing lists, where I was able to dictate which supplies went in which bag based on the type of supplies, the space available, and the maximum allowable weight per bag.I also did several tasks in order to help make decisions regarding the contents of the Team Bags. In this, I gathered and laid out the current packing list contents so that others could better visualize the constraints that needed to be considered for creating the packing lists. By updating the master packing list with the recommended and on-hand inventory, I was able to note discrepancies between the different versions of packing lists. I also wrote a questionnaire for getting feedback on the contents and organization of the team bags from the teams in the field.In order to make the packing process easier for those who came after me, I wrote a general guide for packing the team bags, laid out several of the items for photo documentation, and reorganized and relabeled the backup inventory storage area.
