These furnaces had a 30,000 mmBTU/day fuel usage, and in the normal day I diagnosed problems either mechanically or electrically, updated procedures, and worked on any other situations that arose. Skilled in Level One and Level Two.

Responsible for all manufacturing activities of glass and coatings production facility. Supervised 10 supervisors, engineers, and managers, as well as 80 hourly union employees. My main emphasis was to redirect the attitudes and habits of the workforce to improve productivity, efficiency, and performance.

Managed three Quality Assurance Laboratories to ensure conformance to specifications. Interaction with Production, Field Representation, and customers via COA. Testing products included all frits, electrostatic powders, pigments, and oxides. Maintained documents and practices to ISO9001 specifications. Three-shift staffing of as many as 15 Technicians.
