This work included acting as the liaison between engineering and leadership, collaborating with teams throughout the company, as well as providing written and in-person support to engineers.• Proposed and designed modernizing Office installation by decoupling multiple services to facilitate faster releases of new products.• Increased usage by 1M monthly active users by using Kusto Query Language (KQL) to identify drop-off points in usage and then creating service-delivered experiences to keep users engaged at those points.• Increased Office subscriptions by 10K per year by collaborating with the service to design a new REST API that enabled the MacOS Office client to offer full functionality for a limited time to any given device.• Improved license renewal QoS from 70% to 97% by repurposing an existing REST API to implement a lightweight authentication mechanism internal to Office licensing.• Refactored the Office client’s licensing stack across desktop platforms which increased app reliability by 3%and enabled creation of service-delivered experiences.• Regularly supported engineers across the Office organization with the design, development, and testing of their specific features that leverage the licensing stack.• Defined the metrics to monitor and then managed numerous feature rollouts and experiments to ensure the business and system health of the licensing stack while driving new features to completion.
