Award-winning journalist and writer of Nurden's Notebook, the everyday tale of a put-upon husband and trainee rock god. John has edited four weekly newspapers in Kent; ran his own successful TV, radio and leisure PR company and founded the World Walking the Plank Championships in 1997. He is still on a one-man mission to promote the sun-kissed Isle of Sheppey (check out his song There Ain't No Ferry To The Isle of Sheppey) where he lives with Mrs Nurden. Despite officially being retired he is now editing the Sheppey Scene Facebook page and magazine.He has previously terrorised Kent attempting to play the guitar (quite badly) with the Rockin' Decades fun rock band. He may also have turned up at one of your events as JR King's Juggernaut Roadshow! The man has no shame...
