-Served as the Commander of a Provisional Combined Arms Battalion.-Responsible for the supervision, accountability, morale, discipline, professional development, health and welfare of over 20 Officer and Non Commissioned Officer Cadre members and up to 140 Soldiers while the Battalion is forward deployed to the Republic of Korea (RoK). -Identified leadership strengths and shortfalls within the cadre team, then created and executed a targeted Leader Development program that increased their leadership effectiveness and potential for career progression.-Filled the role of home-station mission commander, served as the Battalion Commander's direct representative by providing unity of command and ensuring that operations at Fort Hood, TX continued uninterrupted while the Battalion was forward deployed.-Responsible for implementing and overseeing a multi-million dollar Unit Maintained Equipment contract and for the maintenance and readiness of the Battalion's wheeled and tracked vehicle fleet to include: 29 x M1A2 SEP Main Battle Tanks, 36 x Bradley Family of Vehicles, and over 180 additional vehicles with associated equipment. -Executed ACP operations at three different Access Control Points, ensuring Soldiers were properly trained and equipped to provide access control and force protection to Fort Hood, TX.-Oversaw accountability of six companies' rear property books, valued in excess of $480,000,000.00-Conducted deployment and redeployment operations, accounting for all personnel and equipment departing and arriving at Fort Hood, TX.-Provided support to over 800 family members of deployed Soldiers by building and establishing relationships with the numerous resources on and around Fort Hood, TX.-Ensured the Family Readiness Group was functional, resourced and motivated. Maintained constant communication with the Senior Spouse, FRG leaders and Battalion Family Readiness Liaison.

-Served as the Interim Commander for 7 months.- Served as Executive Officer and 2nd in Command of a Headquarters Company in a Combined Arms Battalion, consisting of 30 officers and 203 noncommissioned officers and Soldiers. -Directly responsible for resource and logistical management of all equipment and property including 80+ military vehicle platforms, weapons and communication equipment valued in excess of $78,000,000-Directly supervised the company's Command Supply Discipline Program, maintenance program and arms room procedures.-Responsible for battle tracking at the combat trains command post in order to quickly analyze tactical and logistical problems and provide solutions to the company and battalion commander.-Assisted the Commander in mission planning and accomplishment; ensuring that tactical reports from the platoons were forwarded to the battalion tactical operations center. -Managed the unit supply in order to make sure the company was always resourced properly, ready to execute any assigned mission and prepared at all times for rapid worldwide deployment.

-Served as a platoon Leader of a 42 Soldier, M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle-equipped, Mechanized Infantry Platoon, in a Combined Arms Battalion.-Responsible for the health, welfare, morale, training, lethality, combat readiness, safety, professional development and discipline of all assigned Soldiers.-Responsibilities included planning, resourcing, executing, supervising and evaluating the platoon's demanding and realistic, individual and collective training, ensuring its readiness to deploy, fight and win decisively in combat.-Responsible for the lethal, tactical employment of the platoon and all available assets through direct action, to include stability operations. -Liable for the maintenance, safekeeping, accoutability and deployment readiness of all platoon equipment, valued in excess of $20,000,000-Facilitated the professional development of 12 Non-Commissioned Officers and 30 Soldiers. -Ensured all families were informed and cared for through a functional, resourced, and motivated Family Readiness Group. -Supervised all arms room operations in the company and ensured strict compliance with numerous Army and Fort Hood regulations relating to the proper storage, safekeeping, handling, maintenance and accountability of all weapons systems.

-Served as an Observer Controller/Trainer (OC/T) for the Leadership Development and Assessment Course (LDAC) at Joint Base Lewis McCord using situational training exercises and small group instruction. -Facilitated and evaluated small unit leadership by teaching, coaching and mentoring ROTC Cadets throughout the course and providing after action reviews for the cadets after each leadership opportunity.-Assisted in the planning, coordination and execution of all training.-Responsible for ensuring every cadet who graduated the course was ready to commission as a second lieutenant in the United States Army and serve as a platoon leader.
