I am a retail manager with 10+ years of experience. While working on my Bachelor's Degree, I was also employed by Hastings, a specialty retailer of consumer electronics. In this role, I had a chance to grow my knowledge of new products and influence customer purchasing decisions. For 6+ years I have worked for Rent-A-Center, an appliance, furniture and electronics rent to own company with thousands of stores nationwide. In my positions with Rent-A-Center in both Arizona and Massachusetts, I have had hundreds of opportunities to interact with a diverse clientele. I have advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware and have always possessed an interest and innate ability to work with electronics.I have eight years of experience working in a supervisory role. I am self-motivated and like to keep busy. I am able to solve complex problems quickly and efficiently. I pride myself on my work ethic and commitment. My background in customer service has helped me to develop the skills necessary to work with people of all ages and backgrounds. I have worked with a variety of people and have become an adept problem solver and leader. In managing multiple staff members I have gained experience in having difficult conversations and both giving and receiving feedback to work as an effective team.
