For 6 months I served as the interim VP of Communications while the college conducted a national search to fill the position. During this time, I managed both the IT division as well as the 26 staff in Communications. In this role I was able to create a capital campaign messaging platform that connected themes from our new strategic plan to pre-existing campaign themes, completed a restructuring of the staff which included adding new positions in support of development communications, and established a new divisional leadership team. In addition, I served as the main communications contact during a major campus crisis, working with external communications consultants, trustees, and the president.

As an adjunct professor of Film and Media Studies, I team-teach documentary film courses once a year. My role focuses primarily on the production aspects of filmmaking, and is done in the context of a class that closely integrates theory and production.
