Help to develop the architecture and prepare Sky TV for the future focusing on agility, security and resilience.Collaborate closely with PMO and lines of business teams to develop a relationship were all solutions are fit for purpose and meet operational needs at a reasonable cost. Key Achievements:Used the latest technology to deliver the Sochi and Reo Olympic games; the company was used to spending in excess of $150K on a traditional WAN to deliver the games content. I introduced Citrix SD-WAN which removed latency issues and added considerable stability at far reduced costs. This was a ‘hearts and minds’ challenge at all levels and required excellent vendor relationship management. Delivered Milano project to refresh set top boxes and fit a new broadcast headend; this needed good project management within my team of 8 engineers, architectural sympathy and teamwork to get this $110M project designed and implemented. Working with the vendor and many internal SKY TV teams, we got this across the line on time and within budget expectation. Designed and built most of the new OTT platforms at SKY TV; Used Cisco and Citrix skills to build out Neon, new SkyGo, Fan Pass and other OTT systems and sub-systems including Oracle IDM, we also retired old and insecure products such as Igloo.

Consultancy on Virtualization to reduce government use of data centers; This was a consortium of companies inputting resources such as myself to report to Central Government on financial benefits around reducing their data center footprint.Consultation to properly protect data in flight and data at rest on the Police and Criminal Justice Network (CJX) This was a collaboration with vendor who held the contract for the service. Consultation on Military projects; We supplied services and equipment to secure communications between Military services, operational units and equipment.
