I have over 10 years experience in Business and Project development spanning across 20+ Countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, and have been involved in professional engagements across 30+ Countries across 4 Continents. I commenced in the clean energy sector as a business development manager with a French/International Energy Company - Vergnet SA, and later on transitioned to another French/International company CMR Group, commencing as head of Project Development and later promoted to the role of Commercial Director for Africa (Solar Division), leading a team of business development managers, and reporting to the Group CEO. In some of the countries i have worked, I have been part of the teams that pioneered medium and large scale clean energy projects, hence opening up these markets for further investments. Following close to a decade in the clean energy industry, together with Growth Supply, we have set up a tech enabled clean energy company to serve the growing energy needs of the African continent, and to channel sustainable finance to deploy renewable energy solutions for industries, sustainable cities and electric mobility. Growth Energy, with teams offices in France and operations and subsidiaries in Kenya, Nigeria, Burundi and Zanzibar), is scaling up deployment of projects on the African continent at a time when a number of global companies have taken an exit from the continent to focus on the rising energy needs in their home countries or home continents. We are committed to the African transition towards clean and sustainable Energy - and we wish for the African success stories in the energy transition to echo across the globe!I am also Co-Founder of Friends of Nigeria (FON), a non-profit founded in 2016 which is building the largest network of Nigerian professionals in Europe, and also facilitating collaboration between companies in Nigeria and their European counterpart.
