I have been in the factory automation industry, particularly forestry and mining for 46 years. I put the first variable frequency drives on then, a chip in saw machine in 1982, which is now a double length in feed machine, and engineered over 300 machines.Designed a plywood lathe that can peel a 10 inch tree every 3 seconds, 20 per minute, along with many more applications.In mining I have supplied many mine hoist drive systems and motors, along with many conveyors and crushers.I have also supplied many medium voltage drives for different applications.
