I worked for Durkee Foods in their R and D facility and was responsible for product development and technical service to manufacturing and marketing. Our product line included fats and oils, emulsifiers, and many types of frozen bakery products such as cookies, danish and puff pastries, croissants, and bagels. My chemistry background served me well in solving manufacturing and quality issues. I was active in the American Oil Chemists Society and the American Association of Cereal Chemists. For the past 19 years I have been a sales consultant for Probake in Twinsburg Ohio. Probake is the exclusive distributor of Polin bakery equipment in North America. The product line includes cookie depositors, deck and rack ovens, spiral and planetary mixers, automatic lines, silos systems, dividers, and more.
