John Oleson, Principal, B. Out There, has a broad range of experience including growing companies and positioning them for investment capital, mergers and sale. He has an evidenced background in the healthcare industries (products and electronic medical records, coding and billing software), developing and providing staffing, administration, database management and IT services for both commercial entities and the U.S. government.John has held senior management positions (President, COO, and Business Development) in high growth companies, such as TCAssociates (reached over $80M in annual revenues), HealthDemographics, and PHYSIX (acquired by Data Critical/GE Medical). He is co-founder of Dale Carnegie.During the 2010 – 2012 downturn in the Detroit area economy, he consulted with the Kauffman Foundation’s Urban Entrepreneurship Program assisting area manufacturing companies to expand their focus into aerospace and non-automotive product assembly and production.Most recently, he has been involved in helping corporations grow revenues by creating/revamping their business, marketing and implementation plans (medical device manufacturing, healthcare electronic records and billing, chronic care management, and professional services staffing companies). Additionally, he serves as Vice President/Secretary of the National Veteran’s Business Development Council the premier certifying organization for major corporations.He also served twenty years in the United States Air Force as a Medical Services Officer. During his federal career, he was certified at the Department of Defense with a Top-Secret Clearance (SCI) level. Education: B.S. degree in Business from Ferris State University and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Webster University.
