Participate in research for Dr. Scott Dietrich and Dr. Arash Akbari-Sharbaf-Design and create coplanar waveguides to study and eventually publish on exotic quantum states of graphene.-Probe waveguide with microwave transmission spectroscopy to study electric states in the graphene under low temperature (<1 Kelvin) and high magnetic field (>10 Tesla) conditions.-Investigate the self-assembly of copper nanoparticles on graphene after heating the substrate in a vacuum to better understand the complex interplay between the two materials’ work functions and their energy states
