SkyTran (www.skytran.com) was developing a high-speed, high-capacity and on-demand transportation technology that used magnetic levitation and propulsion technologies on a track (no friction). As a hands-on technical engineering lead, I was responsible for delivering software for a range of products. The Firetide product is a carrier-grade mesh ad-hoc WiFi product that based on a Qualcomm IPQ8068 ARM Cortex-based dual-core 1.4Ghz processor and Qualcomm dual 4x4 MU-MIMO radio chipsets, embedded Linux OpenWRT, C/C++, built in an IP67 enclosure as part of the company’s IoT product strategy. The MBTT product (Multichannel Business Transformation Toolkit) is a low-code application development platform. The Memeo C1 product is a cloud-based enterprise level collaboration and productivity file sharing system that ties in to other UNICOM products.

Responsible for developing the In-Circuit Emulator products for ARM and x86 processors, written in C/C++. The products used various ARM processors (NXP, TI) and had various connectivity busses, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, USB 2.0 and 3.0. Conceived and implemented features related to the company's Linux product strategy. Besides product development, assisted customer engagement and gave presentations on Linux debugging using Arium products at ARM Devcon and Freescale Technology Forum. Helped customers bring up ARM board designs quicker using Arium's Linux debugging and emulator products. Developed and ensured that quality processes were in place to support predictable delivery of products and releases using agile-like processes. Focused in providing debugging and tracing features specific to hard disk drive manufacturers (WD and Seagate were two customers).
