The team was accountable for the design and development of the Service Strategy. It was during this project that I first met and teamed with John. During this IaaS engagement, John really knocked it out of the park by quickly gaining the clients confidence by identifying and summarizing the not so obvious pain points, various underlying inhibitors and their root causes (I witnessed first hand how the client embraced John's analysis and ideas as he executed precise messaging that transcended the organization's various political boundaries [boundaries which had prevented previous consultants from being successful]). In addition, John followed up on his analysis by crafting an innovative organizational, technical and service management solution that quiesced the pain, removed the inhibitors and remediated the root causes. The bottom line: John is a true and tested IT leader that brings clear vision and approaches to the table. He knows how to leverage a direct and clear communication style while respecting the hierarchies of client organizations. As an IT Thought Leader, John is innovative in his use of IT frameworks such as ITIL, CoBiT and TOGAF as well as Cloud methodologies.
