Rewind 15 years and you'd find me tinkering in my spare time with a home computer lab setup, building and breaking Windows domain and infrastructure environments. Back to the present day and gone are the numerous workstations; cables; monitors and hefty electricity bills, only to be replaced by virtualisation technologies that allow me to more easily build...and still break (less frequently though, I promise) various technology platforms. And in a more environmentally friendly manner, no less.It's this continued passion and curiosity for technology and a desire for learning that has enabled me progress through a variety of roles over the years, culminating in my present role as Network and Server Manager for the Sovini Group. Tough Mudder springs to mind, oh, and that time I successfully completed a 42.5 mile trail ultramarathon, having never previously run further than 10k. It was sold to me as “a long walk”. My stubborn commitment to never give up saw me to the end, and it was a painful (very) but rewarding experience….. I also like to cook.
