Meeting and greeting the clientele of this new, unique membership-based private aviation entity which provides daily round trip service from Westchester County Airport to Boston Logan Airport.Responsible for providing unparalleled customer service that befits our executive clients and guaranteeing their complete satisfaction. Other functions include providing a seamless check-in process, satisfying hotel and transportation requests, ensuring that each flight departs on time as per our daily schedule, reacting professionally and pro-actively during irregular operations and promptly addressing member questions or concerns.Additional responsibilities include ensuring that prior to departure, our aircrafts are fully stocked with snacks, beverages, ice and newspapers, our FBO hospitality cart is fully stocked with fruit, snacks and beverages which are displayed in an appetizing manner, communicating effectively with other Beacon staffers and performing all duties in a safe and responsible manner.Knowledge of aviation-related components are required, such as weather, ATC issues, minimum operating requirements for both airports and aircraft performance characteristics.

Responsible for booking, scheduling and monitoring trip demands requested by Wheels Up members. Position requires in-depth knowledge of specific airport characteristics, including runway limitations, hours of operation, services provided, noise abatement issues, as well as weather issues and other situations that would negatively impact the safe operation of a trip. In addition, duties include the ability to determine crew duty days and contact them with adjustments to their schedules; knowledge of the performance characteristics of our aircraft fleet and the ability to translate the results.Also, the position requires the immediate response to all requests and questions relating to new or existing bookings for itineraries from our exclusive managed aircraft owners. Trips are in a worldwide theatre and require knowledge of country permits, fuel releases, customs requirements and necessary travel documents.

Directed and oversaw the Command Center, a fast-paced, hectic and stressful corporate airline environment where the ability to multi-task, think logically, communicate clearly, and prioritize situations was absolutely imperative. The Command Center monitored the daily corporate flight schedule and was responsible for proactively identifying and managing “day of” client trip issues. The team I lead was extremely unique as we were the only department that was both the customer advocate and the company spokesperson.

Responsible for the daily USAirways operational activities at Westchester County Airport (HPN), including ticket counter, gate functions, security, crew briefings, flight releases, fuel procurement, updating FIDS screens and baggage claim issues. Managed and motivated a diversified group of twenty-four full and part-time employees. Also, involved in hiring, training, scheduling and assigning staff; and resolving any escalated issues.
