Drove 40% improvement in throughput and bridged supply gap until additional capital assets could be deployed.- Improved delivery performance. In this position, I was charged with resolving issues of cost, delivery performance, and labor relations while overseeing the operations of a site generating millions in annual revenue; we created threat detection and screening technologies for aviation, borders, defense, and urban security. One of my most noteworthy contributions here was leading a cross-functional team through a project to decouple the supply chain. This involved guiding the transition from MRP to reorder point planning for raw materialsmanagement. As a result, the time taken to order raw materials went down from 18-20 weeks to 7-8 weeks. Further cost and efficiency improvements were seen through continuous process improvement efforts. This included conducting line rebalancing efforts to enhance process efficiency. To facilitate the adoption of process changes, employees were cross-trained and detailed escalation protocols were defined. Another significant achievement during this tenure was the successful negotiation of a labor contract.
