Part of the PPG Automotive management team launching the PPG waterborne B1:B2 mix room in the all new EC VOC Paintshop at NMUK.

• Responsible for a coatings manufacturing facility & a team of skilled individuals batch manufacturing, testing & supplying performance coatings to strict customer quality requirements for a range of applications - including supplying both directly & via Tier 1 suppliers to OEMs in the Automotive & Heavy Duty Equipment (HDE) manufacturing sector: end users including Bentley, Jaguar Land Rover, New Holland.• Management of a flexible order book within a tight annual 6 figure budget measured against SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-based) KPIs, adhering to all QCD, EHS, People & legislative requirements.• Supplying products to several 6 & 7 figure Key Accounts.• Responsible for control of budget cost centres, approval of purchases & financial reporting.• Coordinating responses to downstream concerns, liaising with PPG Technical departments & laboratory facilities in Europe.• Coordinating responses to downstream concerns, liaising with PPG Technical departments & laboratory facilities in Europe.• Ensuring implementation of all PPG procedures & policies, EHS regulations & training requirements & strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures & Management Of Change.• Ensuring process control improvements & KPIs are achieved & that thorough documentation control, coatings colour & physical QC analysis & record retention are compliant.• Undertaking all team administration for direct reports & complementary workers, including any discipline & recruitment requirements.• Coordinating with PPG Technical departments new technology/product introduction via Secure Launch protocols & smooth introduction of new ERP & satellite systems.• Utilising LEAN & 6 Sigma improvement techniques to analyse current state & introduce improved future state flow where achievable.• Implementing through the team 5S, TPM & best practice methods & models.• Member of the Shildon site senior management EHSLT (EHS leadership team).
