Supports the development and management of externally and internally sponsored projects. Maintains a working knowledge of all projects for the College. Provides input on strategic alignment and promotes cross-project, cross-departmental and institutional spanning connections and collaboration when applicable. Works with Deans, Department Chairs and Grant Supervisors to validate and approve performance reports and project sustainability plans. Identifies new target areas and disciplines, in concert with department chairs, to develop new and innovative academic programs.Leads the launch process of newly awarded projects. Provides strategic input on project activities including development of work plans to the grant supervisors. Troubleshoots challenges with grants operations at the College. Recommends process improvements. Directs project teams in planning, monitoring, managing and implementing externally and internally funded projects. Engages with the project teams to ensure projects are functioning to achieve the approved and expected outcomes outlined within the individual grants.
