Here, I served as the GIS Lead leading up to a reorganization and new title as of March 2019. After the reorganization I had a wide variety of new responsibilities and I was no longer concentrated on GIS projects.While I was GIS Lead all projects of a GIS nature that came into IT were handled by me as the Project Manager. It was my job to verify that all GIS concerns conceptually, technically, etc were considered. If I saw something off it was up to me to let everybody know and then offer solutions/suggestions. Additionally I would act as a technical resource during the project to assist in getting things done esp in regard to troubleshooting issues. At all times I would act as a GIS technical assistant if needed.I managed complex projects, overseeing project teams engaged in data management initiatives.I defined project plans, schedules, specifications, and budgets for each project, with the authority to allocate staff and budget resources.I collaborated with IT divisions, as well as vendors for database work, telecommunications, operations, technical support, and engineering.I worked closely with clients on the entire Product Development Life Cycle, gathering requirements and managing the application through design, testing, and implementation phases. My achievements in this role include service as the project manager leading a major GIS upgrade, working with Schneider Electric as the lead vendor and two subcontractors, where I achieved all milestones and deliverables on-time and within budget.

I founded a sole proprietorship consulting firm dedicated to GIS operations and project implementation.I served as a resource, advising clients seeking to implement GIS technologies within their organizations.

I was hired to oversee GIS operations and lead complex GIS projects involving the coordination of multiple departments and agencies, leading final Quality Assurance responsibilities. My efforts were recognized with a Customer Appreciation Award from Schneider Electric in 2012.I supervised many as six professionals while developing GIS budgets, with individual project budgets of as high as $3.5M.
